About Us

Our editorial and production staff have more than 75 years of collective experience developing and updating legal information in print and electronic format. Below is a background of some of the principals behind Legal Content Inc.

JOHN MOLINARI, President and founder of Legal Content Inc., was born in 1952 in Corona, Queens. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in English from Queens College in 1973 and received a law degree, cum laude, from Hofstra Law School in 1976, where he was a member of the Law Review. After his admission to the New York bar, Mr. Molinari started his career as an editor at West Publishing Co. (now Westlaw). He was an Assistant Managing Editor and in charge of federal statutes at the time of the closing of the Westbury, N.Y. office in 1997, following the purchase of West by the Thomson Corp. That year, Mr. Molinari started Current Legal Resources, the predecessor company to Legal Content Inc. Although he spends much of his time on business development and product creation, John continues to keep his hand in the editorial side of the company, as well. He resides in Bayside, New York.

He has earned a B.A. and an M.A. in political science from the University of Pennsylvania (1979 and 1980) and a law degree from NYU School of Law (1982), and was admitted to the New York bar in 1983. From 1983-1985 he served as law clerk to U.S. District Judge Leonard D. Wexler in the Eastern District of New York. From 1985-1997 he worked at West Publishing Co. as an editor of the legal encyclopedia Corpus Juris Secundum.
